When days are cold, I pamper my skin with Dr.Hauschka Almond Body Moisturizer.. It's divine!

If I have to pick my favorite body moisturizer when the days are colder and my skin feels drier, it would the Dr.Hauschka almond body moisturizer. It has everything I'm looking for in a body lotion. It smells divine. It has the perfect constancy, it's light, creamy and fast absorbing. It's made with organic and bio dynamically grown sources, and not a single ingredient comes from an organization involved in animal testing.
I use it everyday!

The key ingredients of that lotion are:

- Sweet almond oil: Cold-pressed from the edible nut kernels (fruit) of the almond tree, sweet almond oil is an excellent skin-softening (emollient) oil historically used for centuries in skin care. It is mild, lightweight and easily absorbed into the skin as well as rich in unsaturated fats and essential fatty acids, such as linoleic acid. It has a calming and soothing effect especially for dry, itchy skin and supports the skin's barrier function.

- Jojoba oil: it protects, soothes and fortifies skin, helping to prevent moisture loss throughout the day. I previously made a post on jojoba oil that I use daily as a make-up remover and light moisturizer in Summer.

- Quince seed extract: it soothes and hydrates, supporting the natural moisture of the skin.

- Avocado oil: it softens, calms, protects and rejuvenates the skin.

- Shea butter: it hydrates, nourishes and protects against most UV rays. It has anti-inflammatory properties.

- Olive oil: it deeply nourishes and protects the skin from free radicals.  It prevents the skin from early aging.

Dr. Hauschka Skin Care has been 100% natural for over 45 years and is certified natural by NATRUE, a non-profit, international organization founded by the pioneers of natural and organic cosmetics. NATRUE certification ensures that a product has met the strongest criteria available for natural and organic ingredients in cosmetics and is free of synthetic preservatives, fragrances, dyes and petroleum derived synthetics.

All those ingredients and the source of all of them make the perfect moisturizing lotion to me! :)
