My first trip to a vegan patisserie in France.

Last September I went to VG patisserie in Paris, France. I could not wait to go there! I have been following Bérénice Leconte a pastry chef at Gentle Gourmet on Instagram for quite some time before she opened her very own pastry shop. When she announced that she was planning to open a vegan patisserie, I got so excited, because first I am French, second I love pastries so much!!  But I live in the US and I can’t find true vegan french pastries around me. I was dreaming of going there as soon as I would be able to go to France for a visit. And it happened, finally... not to my disappointment!! I tried their lemon tart, a fondant au chocolat, a double espresso and even a quiche! Everything was delicious! I highly recommend going there. Besides the food, the service is excellent! Mathilde (I think this is her name) was very pleasant and welcoming. She was always smiling!


I can't wait to go back!!
