My favorite green shampoos and conditioners of all!

Like many girls I am obsessed with my hair and finding the RIGHT shampoo and conditioner. I have tried a zillion of them from drugstore to luxury brands. Most of them make my scalp itchy and give me dandruff because they are made with harsh chemicals, preservatives, synthetics fragrances and silicones.

I have been using green shampoos for the past 6 years and they have been the best so far: they clean well, they don't irritate my scalp and they smell good (light natural smell from essential oils that does not linger and give me headaches).




Here is a list of my favorite green brands that I have used in chronological orders starting with the oldest.
 
I first used MELVITA, a French Organic beauty brand; their shampoos and conditioner were wonderful but some of the products that I loved to use got discontinued ( Shampoo for very dry hair and conditioner the family). The US website was shut down and the orders are shipped from the UK site.

Then I switched to the German brand LAVERA for a while.

I particularly love their rose line. It smells so good and makes my hair beautiful and healthy.

While using LAVERA I alternated my routine with JOHN MASTERS ORGANICS lavender rosemary and evening primerose shampoo along with rosemary peppermint and neroli citrus conditioner. Like LAVERA they made my hair look beautiful, clean and healthy.

3 months ago I got my hair cut at an AVEDA salon. I was so happy with the results that I bought their AVEDA shampure and conditioner and after using it once I got terrible dandruff so I got rid of them. I should have known it because I had the same experience with those products years ago when I was not using green beauty products yet: itchy scalp and dandruff!!
 
So I decided to try another green brand called 100% Pure. I am now using their Honey & Virgin Coconut shampoo and conditioner and all I can say is that those products are fantastic! They make my hair clean, healthy, easy to manage and shiny! What can I ask more for hair products? I used them on my vacation in Florida and on the cruise and despite the heat, the strong winds on the ship and the sweat, my hair stayed in a good shape, surprisingly clean longer and soft. It didn't dry out and got pretty manageable!

I am so satisfied with those products that I wanted to share it with you!
